ZORBING has become one of the highlights of the summer in Bersted.
The fun pastime has proved a hit in the holiday playschemes held by the parish council in the past months.
The zorbs have been in place at the Jubilee Fields off Chalcraft Lane on Wednesdays since late July.
Parish council clerk Fiona Dobbs said: “Zorbing has been particularly popular. People really like it and have been coming back for more.
“Everybody has had a fun time. The atmosphere has been really good.”
The plastic giant spheres are just some of the fun activities for five to 14-year-olds which have taken place at three sites around the parish.
The last of the Out & About sessions is set to be held from 10am-midday at the Village Green on the Bersted Park estate.
The other Out & About location has been Tamarisk Close on the Trees Estate.
“The Out & About events have been very popular as well,” said Mrs Dobbs.
“We have tried to hold them in as many places as possible so different people can take advantage of them.
“The different locations have widened their appeal and made more people aware of what has been going on.”
