Youngsters skipped to help raise funds

BEAVERS, Cubs and Scouts showed-off their skipping skills while raising funds for charity in Bognor Regis.

The 2nd Bognor Sea Scout Group got energetic when they took part in the Jump Rope for
Heart event earlier this month.

The occasion, which raises funds for the British Heart Foundation, saw the youngsters raise £33.91 through collection boxes, with added sponsorship money still awaited.

They even tried to get the crowd involved in skipping for the good cause too.

The event, which took place in the town’s shopping precinct, also allows the group to keep 20 per cent of all funds raised.

This means two charities are set to benefit from the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts hard work.

The group would like to say a big thank you to everyone that supported them on the day and all those who sponsored them.
