A SERIES of warnings have been issued for high tide along the coastline this morning (October 9).
Bosham, West Ichenor, Emsworth and Langstone are all the subject of flood warnings from the Met Office.
Immediate action is required to protect properties from tidal flooding in these areas, according to experts.
High tide is at 12.30pm today, with a predicted surge.
“Please prepare to protect your property,” the Met Office warned of Bosham and West Itchenor, adding Environment Agency staff were monitoring the conditions.
Water is also set to be high around South Street, in Emsworth, and the Ship Inn car park at Langstone is set to flood.
Also the A259 junction at Lumley Road, in Emsworth, is expected to flood and water levels will be high through Langstone’s high street.
A flood warning has also been issued for the coastline between Selsey Bill and Elmer.
