VIDEO: Burst water main leads to firefighter call out

A burst water main saw Chichester and Bognor fire units called to Summersdale Road, Chichester early this morning.

The call out at 6.12am saw one crew from Chichester supported by an Operational Support Unit for sandbags and the High Volume Pump, both from Bognor, West Sussex Fire & Rescue confirmed.

Portsmouth Water isolated the burst main and crews worked to make the scene safe, with teams stood down at 9.22am, a fire spokesperson added.
