POLICE investigations are continuing after a man and a woman were found dead in a Bognor Regis flat.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said more information should be released today (Monday, July 15), after post-mortems have been completed.
Officers were called to the basement flat at around 3.40pm on Friday, July 12 when the bodies of a man, 51, and a woman, 30 were discovered.
An eye witness, who lives in Park Road, said he saw about seven cars pull up outside the house in the afternoon, with police officers and a hazardous response team attending the scene.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said the deaths are currently being treated as unexplained and at this stage, not suspicious.
Officers said there was a concern there was an indication of chemical substances related to one or other of the bodies.
