Lorry collides with bridge in Barnham

Trains are running at a reduced speed after a lorry collided with a bridge in Barnham.

The lorry, which a witness said was transporting lettuces, collided with the railway bridge in Yapton Road.

Southern Rail tweeted: "We have been advised of a vehicle colliding with a bridge in the Barnham area.

"Network Rail engineers are on site and are assessing any damage.

"Services running between Barnham and Littlehampton may be delayed by up to 10 minutes."
