A SUSPECTED burglar who skipped bail and returned to his native Poland has been extradited back to England.
Sussex Police said Tomasz Krukowski, 33, formerly of The Croft, Bognor Regis, failed to return on bail in September, 2013.
A spokesman said: “He had been due to be charged with conspiracy to commit burglary across West Sussex at houses in Chichester, Petworth, Bosham, Slindon, Broadbridge Heath and surrounding areas.
“Police from the Pomeranian Command, Gdansk, subsequently arrested Krukowski in Czarne, Northern Poland, and he was flown back to Britain.
On Tuesday (December 16) Krukowski appeared before Crawley magistrates after being charged with conspiracy to commit dwelling burglaries between September 19, 2011, and May 16, 2012.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Chichester Crown Court on 14 January, 2015.
