Today is the longest day of the year - and we want your help to capture it all on film.

As part of the Observer’s Summer of Love campaign to promote everything good about the area, our reporters will be out and about with their cameras today (Friday, June 21) to capture footage of everyday life in our wonderful county on the longest day of the year.

And we want as many readers to get involved as possible by sending us their own clips and pictures on life around West Sussex.

It could be something as simple as sitting in your garden, it could be enjoying a lunch at a local businesses, it could be fun after-school (or in-school) activities, it could be a coffee morning at your work!

Whatever you are up to – we want to know about it and we will be sharing them with your fellow readers.

By the end of the longest day we will creating a special ‘Life in a Day’ video using what YOU send us.

Editor Colin Channon said: “There is so much to celebrate about living in West Sussex – so let’s show the world what life is really like and why it is such a wonderful place to live in, work in and visit.”
