THERE are high hopes a charity shop’s new look will prove even more popular.
The PDSA shop in Bognor Regis has undergone a makeover as part of drive to attract more shoppers and supporters and help raise the essential funds needed by the charity to treat sick and injured pets.
The charity said it had been around 15 years since its shop frontages on Sudley Road were updated, with many long overdue for replacement.
Shop manager Pauline Cheesman said the changes were welcomed by local staff and volunteers.
She said: “We haven’t had a new look for a long while, so we are delighted with our new appearance.
“It really helps us stand out, which will attract more shoppers, helping us raise essential funds.
”We are asking the local community to support us in any way they can. We desperately need locals with spare time on their hands to join our friendly volunteer team.”
