Ska night to help charity

SKA sounds will fill one of the biggest venues in Bognor Regis this month.

The popular music will be performed by Southampton-based The Skore at the charity night on February 28. They will be playing two 45-minute sets.

Organiser Kez Bridger has been given the venue at the Riverside Caravan Centre by its managers to raise money for the Bognor Community Action Network for which she is the events manager and community leader.

Speaking on Thursday: “The two previous nights I’ve held at the centre have been sell outs.

“I’m hoping this is going to be the same. Tickets are going well and 250 have been bought so far. Any left will be on sale on the night.”

Priced £7, they can be bought in advance from the centre on Shripney Road and Bognor CAN’s base at the Bognor Youth and Community Centre on Westloats Lane.

Also adding to the musical fun on the night will be DJs Terry D Nicholas and Julie Lambert from the Sussex Soul Club.
