SMILES all around as GCSE students in Barnham celebrate record-breaking results.

Students, staff and parents are celebrating today (August 22) after St Philip Howard Catholic High School recorded their best GCSE results ever.

More than 84 per cent of pupils at the Elm Grove South School gained five GCSEs at A* to C with 77 per cent achieving five including English and maths.

Many students were also awarded straight A*s and As.

Headteacher David Carter said: “It is wonderful to see so many happy faces and successful students.

“Every student should be thoroughly proud of themselves for all they have achieved.”
