Police try to reunite owners with property

POLICE are trying to reunite property stolen from vehicles in the Bognor Regis area with the rightful owners.

Following several suspected thefts earlier this month
in the Durlston Drive,
Bronze Close and Sycamore Road areas, officers are
urging anyone who has
had property taken to get
in touch.

Items include sunglasses, a distinctive purse, jewellery, iPod, and sat nav.

Anyone who thinks the missing goods could belong to them should call 101, quoting serial number 0040 of 02/04.

You will need to give a description of the items, including any distinguishing marks, colour and make.

As part of a West Sussex-wide initiative to clampdown on vehicle crime, the force has two issued posters.

The first aims to highlight how much of a dent could be made in a driver’s pocket should they leave their valuables on show.

The other lets would-be thieves know all valuables have been removed and is available from local police stations.
