Police told of milk thefts

MILK has been stolen from a number of doorsteps in the Bersted area.

A theft of the dairy
product was reported to police last Sunday.

The resident told officers five days earlier two pints of milk had been stolen from outside a Central Avenue home around 5.17am.

Police have been told
that three youths aged between 15 and 17 were seen in the act.

The same day, reports of milk being taken from outside homes in Norbren Avenue were given to police.

It is thought these thefts took place between 4am-5.30am. Similar reports on various days were also made to officers.

Anyone who has any information about the
thefts should call Sussex Police on 101.
