Police seek witnesses to Shripney burglary

POLICE have appealed for help after a burglary in Shripney.

Sussex Police have asked for any witnesses the crime in Shripney Road to come forward.

Officers believe the suspect struck between 6.45pm on Tuesday, April 8 and 3pm the following day.

Five mountain bikes and an air gun have been stolen along with a large quantity of power tools and garden equipment.

Detective Constable Ellie Hughes said: “We are appealing for witnesses that may have seen any suspicious vehicles parked in Shripney Road or any suspicious looking persons loading items into a vehicle during that time frame.”
