SMILES of joy were all around as all the fun of playtime returned to two parks.
West Park in Aldwick and Rose Green’s Avisford Park have come alive with children shrieking with delight as the Play Rangers came back to town.
Mother-of-three Caroline Hopkins was at the West Park session on Tuesday.
“It is great to see so many children out enjoying themselves in the sun.
“It is what the summer holidays should be about,” said the 27-year-old.
There was plenty to keep the youngsters entertained, including a giant inflatable.
Six-year-old Masie Richards was one of those having a blast.
“I love coming here because you get to do lots of fun things. My favourite is the blow-up. It is lots of fun to climb on,” she said.
The Play Rangers will be holding sessions every Tuesday and Wednesday. These will be held from 10.30pm to 12.30pm in West Park, and from 2pm until 4pm in Avisford Park.
The events will finish for the summer on August 27 and 28.
The sessions for youngsters aged five to 16 are funded by Aldwick Parish Council.
