More than 130 students attended the disco event.

Headteacher David Carter, said: “We are so proud of all our Year 11 students – they have had a stunning year at SPH; working hard, aiming high and being tremendous role models to the younger students at the school.”

“We are looking forward to welcoming the majority of our students, along with many external students into our new Sixth Form Centre from September – for now we wish everyone a very long and happy summer holiday.”

Sally Powney, the head of year support at St Philip Howard school, said: “I think that all the students had a lovely time – we did a Prom King and Queen for this year, and we handed out awards to the students.

“We had students arriving in all sorts of vehicles – an ambulance, tractors, a retro bus, a motorbike, and a
camper van were all spotted during the event!

“We’d also like to say a big thank you from all the students to our head of year Nicole Ansell for her hard work.”
