West Sussex inclusive cycling charity ready to reopen for 2021 season
CYCALL is ready to reopen in April, offering inclusive cycling sessions at Brooklands Park in Worthing.
The charity makes cycling a choice for all, with a dedicated track and a range of bikes.
The plan is to start the 2021 season on Good Friday, April 2, and operate every Friday and Saturday until mid-September, weather permitting.
Martine Walters, founder, said: "CYCALL has a wide range of bikes, including a wheelchair transporter, a four-seater trike and a hand-propelled trike.
"The adapted trikes are suitable for adults and children living with a disability or a long-term health condition.
"CYCALL sessions are about more than just pedalling, they are also a great opportunity to make friends and play outdoor games, such as swing ball and Giant Connect 4."
The charity recently received funding from The Bruce Wake Trust to buy a Ping! community table tennis table and this will be available for anyone using Brooklands Park during CYCALL sessions.
CYCALL operates a Covid-19 safety policy and all sessions must be booked in advance. As well as the Friday and Saturday sessions, the charity takes weekday bookings from schools, groups and organisations.
