Thousands of pizza slices donated to Chichester homeless charity during pandemic

More than 2,000 slices were been donated to The Four Street Project last year and Domino’s Chichester has pledged to continue donating pizzas to the charity every week for as long as needed in 2021 and beyond.

Store manager Toni Antram said: “We know that many homeless charities are working under immense pressure right now to ensure the safety of the homeless, so we are proud to be supporting such a deserving cause locally during these difficult times.

“We look forward to continuing to play a small part in helping to feed those most in need in our community.”

The Four Streets Project team provides nightly support to those sleeping rough across the city, ensuring they have warm clothes, food, water, and other items of need.

Volunteers have also been running a nightly takeaway supper club throughout the pandemic.

To ensure the safety of Domino’s team members and the charity’s volunteers when collecting pizza donations, a contact-free collection service is offered which fully adheres to social distancing guidelines.
