Care home residents take part in virtual Big Easter Quiz with other Barchester homes across south

Staff and residents at Westergate House care home in Fontwell took part in a virtual afternoon of chocolate-fuelled fun in the Barchester Big Easter Quiz last weekend.

They joined over 70 Barchester care homes across the south of England, Jersey and the Isle of Wight via Zoom.

Westergate resident Wendy said: “It has been a lovely afternoon. It was wonderful to see everyone in all the other homes joining in. I really enjoyed answering the questions with my friends and the staff.”

General manager Paul Middleton Russell said: “Now that we’re starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel following what has been a year like no other for our residents and staff, we wanted to ensure our Easter celebrations were an extra special treat.
