Captain Tom 100 challenge duck race raises money for Chichester District Foodbank

Residents of Lavant Down held a duck race over the bank holiday weekend to raise money for the Chichester District Foodbank as part of the Captain Tom 100 challenge.

100 ducks were sponsored by residents and sent off from Pot Nore bridge for a 100-metre dash downstream.

HRH Queen Duck led the flotilla of ducks released by Archie, Ember and Chloe.

Gerry Berkley sponsored the winner and a total of £130 was raised for the food bank.
