Bognor tip is 'unfit for business' and uses an 'appointment system of privilege'

Mathews, who lives on Orchard Way, Bognor Regis says that he believes the Bognor Regis tip has been 'unfit for purpose for decades' and has believes the only way to book a slot at the recycling centre is via its exclusionary system.

Matthews also called on Cllr Deborah Urquhart and West Sussex County Council to find a new system, Matthews said: "Scrap the appointment system of privilege and let everybody do the right thing with waste, at our convenience, not W.S.C.C['s]."

The Bognor Regis resident stated they do not own a personal computer and thus cannot arrange appointments at the recycling plant, the same can be said for two others of their friends, so individually they have to travel to Chichester's recycling plant 'burning fossil fuel' and 'adding to road congestion'.

Mathews questioned: "What am I paying council tax for?"

"The WSCC are crowing that 420,000 'customers' love spending their valuable time looking to dispose of their rubbish responsibly, Really?"
