The ten-day challenge was set up on Strava by professional mountain biker Kate Courtney, but as 12-year-old Jonathan Young joined the challenge late, he completed his efforts in four rides over just five days.

The year-seven student at Midhurst Rother College climbed 10,966ft in total and has raised nearly £500 with his ride along the South Downs Way, mainly between Bepton and Harting Down.
