PEDAL power will take over a Bognor Regis park.

Bubbles, sounds and pedalling for paintings will all be created at the saddle-centric event

The two-wheeled occasion is being held from midday to 4pm on February 17 in Hotham Park.

Bognor Regis Town Council has organised the event to encourage more people to get physical in the open space.

Kirsten Fitzpatrick, the council’s events officer, said participants would be able to fill the park with bubbles.

“Pedal Emporium will be bringing a pedal-powered bubble machine. It’s a simple invention - the more you pedal, the more bubbles you get,” she said.

The company will also bring along its unique Whirly Wheels bicycle of an up-cycled coffee table, camping chair and bass drum.

Its central turntable spins as the cyclist pedals to create a beautiful hypnotic ‘painting’.

Reaction Bikes’ five static bike power sound system creates some awesome sounds from the legwork.

Arun Wellbeing will be there with its Healthy Heart campaign and a mini-park run will take place at 2pm.
