IT WILL soon be party time at Bognor Regis and Barnham railway stations.

Southern Railway, Sussex Community Rail Partnership and Rox Music and Arts have joined together to celebrate 150 years of Bognor’s railway line.

The free fun will take place from 10am-5pm on June 1.

Bognor station’s booking hall will host fascinating model railway layouts as well as the chance for visitors to help create commemorative mosaic plaques to be permanently displayed at the two stations.

Signal box tours will take place and stalls will be sited at the station as an added attraction.

Rox will be providing music in the station’s car park. Free vintage bus rides will run to the pier.

From Barnham, a vintage bus will take passengers to the restored signal box at Aldingbourne.

More railways will be on show from Bognor Regis Model Railway Club.

Extra fun will be staged at Barnham Community Hall with a miniature steam railway.
