This is the final call for nominations for this year’s Observer Community Awards.

Every year we ask you to put forward the people and groups who make a real difference to you and your community.

Be it a coach, a person at school who helps you or your child, an amazing volunteer or a fantastic community event - our awards night is there to shine a light on them all.

We have had some brilliant entries so far and this is still just over a week to get final nominations in.

The final date for nominations is Friday, November 13, and we particularly need nominations for the following: Contribution to the Arts; Best Community Event; Hero to Animals; Mini Marvel.

You can email your nominations to us, with a brief bit about why you are putting them forward, along with contact details for you and the nominee. Send them to
