A MULTI-MILLION pound youth centre in Bognor Regis is being officially opened next week.
The Phoenix Youth Centre will be formally brought to life by Louise Goldsmith, West Sussex County Council’s leader, with an opening speech at 3.30pm on Friday (November 18).
Guests will also hear from Tim Loughton, the MP for East Worthing and Shoreham, who is the government’s under secretary of state for children and families.
The centre, on The Regis School campus on Westloats Lane, will then be opened in a ribbon-cutting ceremony in which past and present members of the youth centre will take part.
Displays will be given by some of the young people - such as parents, dancers and musicians - who have recently begun to use the building.
