Time is running out for hopefuls to become this year’s carnival queen in Bognor Regis.
The deadline for entrants to submit their applications is next Wednesday (May 30).
The queen will head the annual procession along the seafront on July 8.
The search is also on for carnival princesses to join her on the big day.
Bognor’s town councillors will be staging the carnival, with its Olympics theme, for the fourth year.
They would like the queen and princesses to add a royal presence to the occasion.
The carnival queen must be 16-plus. Her princesses can be between 8-15.
Candidates need to be available for the judging at the town council’s Big Lunch in Hotham Park on June 3 during the jubilee weekend.
Applications should be sent with a recent full-length photograph to Sue Holmes, Bognor Regis Town Council’s head of street scene and leisure, The Town Hall, Clarence Road, Bognor Regis, PO21 1LD, or email: email@example.com
