A FLEDGING group of Rainbows are on the look out for some new friends.
The 1st Bognor Regis Rainbows has just been set up and is keen to recruit more members to join in the fun.
Group leader Jackie Hotston said: “Joining the Rainbows is such a great place for young girls to meet new friends and enjoy taking part in activities.
“Rainbows is all about having fun, playing games, taking part in planned visits but it also helps build confidence.
“I have always been involved with the Girlguiding movement, my mum was a leader and she got myself and my three sisters involved from a young age. I started in the Rainbows and now I am 26.
“Setting up a new group is a challenge, but the hard work is definitely worth it. Since the last group closed down there has been a real gap in the area.”
The Rainbows are aged five to seven and can grow up to be Brownies, Guides and Senior Section members.
The 1st Bognor Regis Rainbows meet every Tuesday at Nyewood Junior School in Brent Road.
The fun starts at 4.30pm and finishes an hour later.
