FITNESS tutor and personal trainer Jacqueline Hooton could win a national award.
Bognor Regis resident Jacqueline has made it into the final stages of a competition to find Britain’s most inspiring physical activity trainer. She said she was thrilled to have her contribution recognised,
“The awards exist to celebrate exceptional performance in the physical activity sector,” said Jacqueline, 51.
“I’ve been nominated because it was felt my work as a tutor, personal trainer, sponsored athlete and classic model enables me to educate and promote the benefits of a healthy lifestyle to a wide cross-section of people.”
Jacqueline is among six finalists in her category selected after a public vote.
She was overwhelmed with the support she received through a social media campaign viewed thousands of times. She said: “People were asked to vote for their favourite fitness professionals and I’m really grateful that so many were kind enough to vote for me.”
She was nominated for the award by her employer, Future Fit Training. The finals are being held next Thursday at Marlow.
One person who can vouch for Jacqueline’s work is daughter Poppy who is studying psychology at Swansea University.
She recently attended a gym instructor course led by her mother.
