LAUGHTER filled a Bognor Regis theatre as crowds descended for some half-term fun.
The Regis Centre’s family fun week started on Monday and it has been a roaring success.
Hazel Latus, chairman of Arun Arts, the charity which runs the theatre, said: “We are very pleased with how everything is going.
“It is brilliant to see so many people, of all ages, enjoying the theatre.
“On the first day we had 189 children taking part in activities, we really were packed.
“At one point crowds were ten and 12 deep, looking at the owls.”
For those who have taken part in the school holiday fun, there has been a range of activities to enjoy – arts and craft workshops, storytime, face-painting and an owl display as well as performances from the Wondergirls and boys and a Frozen day yesterday, all proving a hit.
“The atmosphere is great. We know the school holidays are an expensive time which is why we have tried to put on a lot of our activities for free,” added Hazel.
The fun continues today and tomorrow with storytime each day as well as zumba and a circus skills workshop and magic show today and tiny tots ballet and a disco tomorrow.
