SIX individuals around Bognor Regis could be on their way to a warmer winter.
Their details were passed on to healthy lifestyle inclusion adviser Eileen Rogers in two hours.
She said: “I am trying to find out the people who need help to keep their places warm.
“I’m especially interested in those people you hear about who can’t afford to have heating.”
She will hand on the details to enable home visits to take place. This will assess measures such as insulation to retain heat as well as the person’s finances.
Help will also be given to claim all the benefits to which the individual is entitled.
Mrs Rogers was based in the AgeUK shop in London Road for its Bobble Day last Friday.
She is part of the healthy lifestyle advisory service of AgeUK West Sussex and Arun District Council.
