Fontwell care home raises £200 for Action on Elder Abuse

STAFF and residents at a Fontwell care home braved the rain to raise money for a great cause.

The team at Claremont Lodge Care Home raised £200 for the charity Action on Elder Abuse.

Activities coordinator Laura Mccorquodale said a downpour didn’t dampen their spirits.

“Despite the rain, which meant we had to move the event indoors at the last minute, residents, staff, family and friends enjoyed cream teas, a raffle and, of course, the main event, the dog show.

“Our judges were representatives from Dapper Dogs in Felpham and SPR in Fontwell.

“We will continue to work closely with Action on Elder Abuse in the future as one of our dedicated charities.”
