A FINAL chance to buy tickets for a tribute concert for a former champion of Bognor Regis is on offer.
The event in memory of the late Ian Harding is taking place this Saturday.
Top bands Hot Rox, Crosscut, Bullett and The Feel will be providing the music at the Riverside Caravan Centre in Shripney Road.
The concert will start at 7.30pm and last until midnight. Tickets cost £7 each from Unique Promotions in The Arcade, The Galleon restaurant in York Road and the Riverside.
Proceeds will go to the PDSA and a donkey sanctuary.
The concert has been arranged by a friend of Mr Harding, Nick Stuart-Nicholson.
He said: “It would be good to see as many people as possible at the concert.
“Ian did a lot for this town and this is a chance for people to give their thanks for his work.
“It might be that people were unable to go along to Ian’s funeral and this concert is an alternative opportunity for them to recognise his life.”
Mr Harding died in October, aged 75, from cancer. He had been the vice-chairman of Bognor Regis Chamber of Commerce for many years during Mr Stuart-Nicolson’s time as its chairman and president.
Mr Harding was also a former town and district councillor for Bognor. He was a strong supporter of the work to restore Bognor’s pier.
