FUN in the sun is being celebrated in Bognor Regis.
The Funshine Days, aimed at keeping the town’s young folk entertained throughout the summer holidays have been organised by Bognor Regis Town Council.
Sue Holmes, the town council’s head of street scene and leisure services, said: “The events have so far been going really well.
“We have had a lot of interest and it is nice to see the children enjoying themselves.”
The majority of the events will be run along the promenade and around the bandstand.
A Pirate Day, held last Friday, saw Potty the Pirate entertain youngsters with his own brand of mischievous fun.
There were also craft activities and a fancy dress competition.
Monday saw a mosaic workshop, while on Tuesday it was the turn of Punch and Judy with Zaz the clown back on his home turf on Wednesday delighting youngsters.
Events coming up this week include Malcolm the Magician on Thursday and donkey rides on Thursday.
Events run from around 11am until 3pm and are on a first come first served basis.
Children must be under parental care and supervision at all times.
