Students in Felpham are celebrating another year of successful GCSE results.

Delighted Felpham Community College pupils received their results this morning (Thursday).

The impressive results showed 73 per cent of students gained five A*-C, an increase on last year and 55 per cent gained five A*-C including English and maths.

Headteacher Mark Anstiss said: “The exam results are very positive and once again reflect the hard work and determination of our students to achieve.

“The college improved its results significantly last year and to sustain that improvement this year is fantastic.

“Once again the commitment and support from staff and governors in partnership with students and parents has led to these results.”

Mr Anstiss said the college was determined to build on the strong foundations already in place across a wide range of its subjects including English and maths.
