South Bersted woman remembers her school days

NEARLY 20 former pupils enjoyed a chat about their school days in their latest reunion.

The 17 one-time classmates of Chichester High School of Girls got together for their annual reunion.

They all started at the school in 1951 and the decades disappeared as they talked about their lessons and the recent developments in their lives.

They are all aged between 74 and 76.

One of those present, Pat Alderton, of South Bersted, said: “We all enjoyed ourselves again at the reunion.

“We would be delighted to welcome at our future reunions anyone who started at the girls’ high school in 1951.”
