A NEW LOGO has been designed by a Bognor Regis pupil for his school.

Riley Clarke, ten, won the competition to find the new image for the newly-named Families Staff Association at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School.

He was awarded his prize of a book token and the Henry Adams Star trophy for his clear and colourful design which contained the letters FSA.

Riley’s prizes were presented by Steve Tickner, partner at the Bognor and Aldwick branch of Henry Adams.

Peter Edgington, who became headteacher of the Glamis Street school in September, said: “The Families and Staff Association do so much
for our school in terms
of fundraising and helping at events.

“I am delighted the children put so much
effort into the logo
design, which reflects
the FSA’s contribution to our school.”

The submitted logos were judged by the school council which selected two entries from each class to win Henry Adams rosettes.

Mr Edgington’s arrival at the school has been welcomed. His excellent team management, with enthusiastic support, has seen him make changes to further enhance learning at the school.
