DVDs are wanted to back town

SCHOOLS around Bognor Regis have been invited to promote the town.

Bognor Regis Twinning Association is holding a new competition for students aged 12 to 18 to produce a DVD.

Press officer James Clevett said: “They can produce the DVD either as individuals or a group and it can be either a set of still photographs or as a movie.

“But the subject must be about promoting Bognor or the districts around it.

“The aim is to send copies of the winning entry on to the town’s two German twin towns of Weil am Rhein and Trebbin.

“This will help to promote Bognor to those who know little about the town.”

The competition follows the success of last year’s schools’ art contest held by the association.

Potential entrants should contact Terry Armistead, the art co-ordinator of the association by email:

Those who would like to enter should register their intention by the end of this month. The closing date for entries is March 31.
