BIRDS and bugs will receive a warm welcome at South Bersted CofE Primary School, thanks to some Cubs.
Members of 1st South Bersted Cubs have created the nature-friendly feature at the entrance to the school in Church Lane.
Their akela, Wendy Morris, said: “The planted display contains a bird house, bug hotel and bird feeder all made by the Cubs, as well as bee-friendly heather.”
The work was part of the homes for nature campaign organised by the RSPB. It was helped by B&Q, which donated the plants.
Val Morris, from the RSPB, spent a fun-filled evening with the Cubs after the photograph.
