A man was arrested following ‘violent disorder’ at a Bognor Hotel last Wednesday in which a group of men caused more £2,500 worth of damage to the premises, police have confirmed.
Witnesses are being sought to the incident at the Pier Hotel in Waterloo Square at about 10.55pm on Wednesday (March 21).
Police said the suspects, dressed in dark clothing, used metal implements to smash the windows and the front door, but no one was hurt.
A 27-year-old man from Woking, Surrey, was arrested on suspicion of causing violent disorder and released under investigation, police added.
Detective Constable Gaye Moore said: “This incident is being treated as violent disorder and and anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact police online or call 101, quoting serial 1420 of 21/03.”
