Police called to ‘arranged fight’ near Barnham Railway Station yesterday

Reports of an ‘arranged fight’ in Barnham yesterday prompted a police callout to the railway station.

Police officers and a riot van were reportedly seen near Barnham station yesterday.

A spokesman for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Barnham station yesterday afternoon after reports of an arranged fight.

“Reassurance patrols were conducted but no offences were committed and no arrests made.”
