Paul Butt, 31, of Alpha Court, Terminus Road, Littlehampton, was given a community order with rehabilitation activity requirement and must pay £50 compensation, £95 victim surcharge, after admitting assaulting an emergency worker, a police constable, by beating in Arundel on April 6, 2021. He also admitted breaching a suspended sentence order. The order was varied to include an additional ten days’ rehabilitation activity requirement.

Harvey Eastley, 19, of Clifton Road, Littlehampton, fined £100 and must pay £85 costs after admitting possessing cannabis, a class B drug, in Littlehampton on September 18, 2020. He was given a community order with rehabilitation activity requirement, must carry out 180 hours’ unpaid work and must pay £95 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting resisting a police constable in the execution of his duty in Littlehampton on November 23, 2020. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months after admitting driving without due care and attention in Clifton Road, Littlehampton, on November 23, 2020, no separate penalty. He also admitted failing to stop when required by a police constable; driving without the correct licence; and driving without insurance, in Clifton Road, Littlehampton, on November 23, 2020, no separate penalties. He admitted two charges of breaching a conditional discharge order and was dealt with for the original offences, receiving a community order for entering Worthing Pier as a trespasser with intent to do damage on March 16, 2020; using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Clifton Road, Worthing, on December 22, 2019; resisting a police constable in the execution of her duty in Clifton Road, Worthing, on December 22, 2019; and possessing cannabis, a class B drug, in Clifton Road, Worthing, on December 22, 2019.

Luke Farrant, 19, of Spittlefield Lane, Chichester, was discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay £22 victim surcharge after admitting assault by beating in Haywards Heath on December 31, 2020; and damaging a door frame in Haywards Heath on December 31, 2020.

Roland Powell, 52, of Linden Road, Bognor Regis, was given a community order with Building Better Relationships programme requirement and rehabilitation activity requirement, and must carry out 120 hours’ unpaid work, for assault by beating in Horsham on April 11, 2020; and destroying a mobile phone worth £59 in Horsham on April 11, 2020; after an application to reopen the case was granted and the sentence imposed on March 10, 2021, was set aside.

Simon Boxall, 49, of Fullers Mead, Harlow, was fined £448 and must pay £45 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving without insurance on the B2139 in Amberley on May 30, 2020. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Omar Kabari, 27, of Weald Court, Station Road, Billingshurst, was given a community order with rehabilitation activity requirement and must carry out 80 hours’ unpaid work after admitting assault by beating in Horsham on December 5, 2020. He must pay £95 victim surcharge, £85 costs.
