Chichester man arrested after police seized 'vast amount' of drugs at property

A 'vast amount of cannabis' was seized after a property was searched by police in Selsey.

According to Sussex Police, officers executed a drugs warrant at a High Street address on Tuesday (January 19).

A spokesperson said: "A 36-year-old man from Chichester was arrested on suspicion of producing a Class B drug (cannabis) and has been released under investigation, pending further enquiries."

Chichester Police posted a photo of the cannabis plants on social media, adding: "A Warrant in Selsey was recently executed [and] a vast amount of cannabis was seized.

"Enquiries are on-going. Our priority is keeping communities safe, feeling safe & preventing crime. Report drug dealing/cultivation to police online, or 101."
