A FRESH chance is being given to residents to find out more about potential changes to Butlin’s in Bognor Regis.
A second exhibition which details the proposed local development order for the holiday site is being staged.
It has been arranged by Arun District Council for 4pm–8pm on January 23 at Bognor Regis Town Hall.
Council officers and representatives from Butlin’s will be available to explain the proposal and answer questions.
A council spokeswoman said: “The draft local development order would allow Butlin’s to make small changes to their buildings without requiring a planning application to be made each time.
“Within the provisions of the draft order, Butlin’s could make small extensions to existing buildings, install solar panels and put up temporary kiosks and huts within its grounds.
“They could also, in a certain area in the centre of the site, put up funfair equipment to a set height restriction.”
Other development at the seafront location will still be subject to the need for the usual planning permission from the council.
The latest display was prompted by criticism that the initial exhibition last month received insufficient publicity.
The consultation about the draft order lasts until 5pm on February 1.
