A NEW venture will launch in Midhurst at the end of the month – and the event will be in aid of the Chloe’s New Legs campaign.
Vicki Harrison, who has set up The Tall Dog, wanted to use the launch day as a fundraiser for Chloe Humphrey’s aftercare.
Her new firm will work as a marketing firm which will help new start-up businesses in the area, as well as opening a directory store in Midhurst, where residents can come in and discover new businesses and tradesmen.
Over 25 businesses have donated raffle prizes for the launch, Budgens have donated tea and coffee for the refreshments, and Costa Coffee and Frankies have donated cakes. There will also be face painting and cookie creating for the kids.
Chloe Humphrey will come along to open the event.
“She will be opening our new business directory which has been set up to bring together the local businesses, trades and services within Midhurst and surrounding areas, where people can come in and see who is offering what, business can display and sell their handmade crafts, art as well as being a place for local business to advertise for job vacancies, events and information,” said Ms Harrison.
“It’s a real business hub, where we hope to get everyone using each other, supporting each other, bringing more money into Midhurst.”
The launch event is on Saturday, June 29, from 11am until 3pm at Apsley House, Church Hill, in Midhurst.
