BUSINESSES of all shapes and sizes are stepping up and entering the Observer and Gazette Business Awards 2015.
A category that many enter is that of medium business – for those with ten to 50 employees.
The category’s sponsor is a computer that has worked across the south east to help provide a range of computer services to keep businesses and schools ticking over.
JSPC Computer Services says it delivers ‘dependable, trustworthy and affordable’ support services to businesses, schools and individuals across the south.
James Stone established the firm in 2002 and since then it has grown and grown, now providing solutions for organisations of all sector and size.
A core part of the business is its support for more than 200 primary and secondary schools across Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire.
The firm provides everything from broadband and data backup to licensing, e-learning support and technician services. JSPC also provides a number of corporate companies with the day-to-day mechanics and technical support structures necessary to meet the daily demands of the business environment.
As well as their education and corporate services, JSPC has a repair centre and shop in Sompting.
In one year they completed more than 2,000 repairs and in 2012 JSPC became a Samsung Service Centre – the only service centre covering the south east.
It also uses these premises to demonstrate the latest interactive learning tools for schools including LearnPads, iPads and Clevertouch.
The company said it was ‘very passionate’ about contributing to the community and was involved in various charities and projects.
James is also part of the Worthing Herald Business Accelerator Scheme where he acts as a mentor to new entrepreneurs and businesses.
