CIRCUS fun filled a Felpham school.
For the fourth consecutive year, Felpham Community College hosted its hugely successful Year 5 Circus event.
Over five days last month the secondary school welcomed more than 420 children from five local primary schools.
Students spent their day participating in circus-based activities.
There was clowning around in the drama workshops, canon ball making, flame throwing and tightrope walking in the science department.
Elmer the Elephant also had to balance precariously on stilts during the making of an animation story in the media centre. As well as learning new skills and working with different equipment, it was an opportunity for students to experience first-hand exactly what secondary school life is like.
There was some ‘great feedback’ from the visiting pupils and the college students who all enjoyed clowning around.
