CRICKETERS have plenty of room to park at Eastergate Cricket Club after extra spaces were provided.
An improvement project has ensured better sports facilities for players and spectators at Eastergate Pavilion. County roads contractor May Gurney supplied labour and materials to re-surface and extend the building’s car park to provide bays for 28 vehicles.
Cricket club chairman Ian Brittain said: “The additional facilities are an invaluable boost for the future use of the club and the growing membership, ensuring safe parking for all.”
He received a plaque from May Gurney for West Sussex highways general manager Richard Collins to mark the scheme’s success.
“May Gurney support projects that enhance healthy living and promote sport in the local community,” said Mr Collins.
