Woods Travel ‘PokéTour’ offering sold out in less than 24 hours having attracted more than 100,000 Facebook views.

The award-winning coach operator’s tour, which has now had a second coach added to help meet demand, boasts pick-up points throughout West Sussex and a route aimed to help Pokémon Trainers ‘to Catch ‘Em All’

Following the unprecedented success of the game Pokémon GO, it is planned to ‘stop at destinations where passengers can hunt for those elusive characters missing from their Pokédex, collect goodies from Pokéstops and showcase their battling abilities in Gyms’, on August 20.

A Woods Travel spokesperson said: “The tour will head to Southsea then onto Portsmouth, home of the first person to catch all 142 Pokémon, and will include a two hour stop at Gunwharf Quays, where passengers have the option to grab a quick snack, or enjoy a well-earned break at one of the many harbour-side restaurants, before heading back through Arundel for some further hunting in the picturesque town.”

The tour also offers the option to catch the ferry over to Gosport, ‘declared a ‘hotspot’ by Pokémon Go expert’.
