STUDENTS at a mental health outreach centre in Bognor Regis have shown off their photographs.
The one-day exhibition at the Community Day Centre showcased the skills they had learned on a recent eight-week photography course.
Some 40 photographs were on display in the Sudley Road building.
At least five were taken by one of the students, John Elson, 53, including a harbour landscape and two portraits.
“I enjoyed the learning process and being involved with a group,” he said.
“It gave me a bit of self-esteem back that has been lacking due to bipolar disorder, depression and anxiety.”
Tutor Maria Sullivan hoped the show would raise awareness of the work of national charity and centre operator United Response.
“This exhibition is not only a celebration of the incredible photographic work the students have created; it is an asset to the Bognor community.”
